MESE Awards 2019
The annual Middle East Event Show is where top companies and individuals within the events industry showcase their achievements and celebrate their efforts for the year. Held at the Madinat Jumeirah’s Al Johara Ballroom on the 9th of April, the awards night was a celebrated evening of the year’s most fruitful and successful events. Among the many industry experts affiliated, I was honored to be a part of the team, contributing by creating a colorful stage experience for those present.
The brief was to create award show templates inside of Ventuz Designer to be run inside Director, using the new MESE branding of neon lights and colors.
The show was run on a massive wide LED display, with two smaller LEDs on either side displaying content for viewers at other ends of the room. Additionally, LED strips above the audience were animated according to the colors of individual categories, which were also coordinated with the lighting.
For this project, I was responsible for designing and animating the templates, which I later operated during the show with the content plugged in. All the LED surfaces were under my control, and I collaborated with audio, lights, and stage managers to ensure the show was a success.
